Pingu (1986)

Episode Overview

Pingu and his pals, Pingo and Pingg, head up to the snowy mountains for a day of tobogganing. After a tiring trek to the peak, they excitedly slide down the slopes. While Pingo and Pingg zoom past, Pingu struggles to gain speed because his sled isn't sliding well. It turns out the skis are rusty, so his friends lend him a greased rag to clean them. After a successful test run, Pingu tries again but accidentally over-polishes the skis, sending him racing uncontrollably down the hill. He crashes into a snowman, getting stuck inside. Pingo and Pingg rescue him by bringing the snowman inside and warming it up until Pingu is freed. Once thawed, Pingu angrily refuses the greased rag when it's offered again, leading to a hearty laugh among them all.
