Pingu (1986)

Episode Overview

Pingu heads to school with his backpack, calling out for Robby along the way. Robby slides down a snowy slope, and Pingu follows, gliding further on his backpack. He tosses it to Robby, who puts it on, making Pingu chuckle. They discover a classroom with desks, a blackboard, and an igloo, from which the teacher emerges. Just as the teacher closes the door, Robby quickly dives into a water hole. The school bell rings, and Pingo and Pingg arrive. Pingu asks Robby to hide in the water hole before the lesson begins. When Pingo jumps in, Pingu is taken aback. Pingo reemerges and draws a fish on the blackboard, followed by Pingg, who adds a fish skeleton. Pingu finds it funny, but Pingg explains why it isn’t. Pingu mimics Robby’s sounds and movements, but the others are confused. He then draws Robby
