Pingu (1986)

Episode Overview

Pingu sets out for a fishing adventure, scaling steep cliffs to reach a secluded spot where he discovers an ice-fishing hole. He successfully catches a fish, unaware that Robby the seal is sneaking up from another hole connected to his, munching on the bait and snagging the same fish repeatedly. Realizing what's happening, Pingu cleverly distracts Robby and seals off the holes with heavy ice slabs. This sparks a wild chase as Robby tries to escape under the ice. In the chaos, Robby's flipper gets caught, leaving him in distress. Pingu feels a wave of compassion and comforts Robby, who soon recovers and, seeing Pingu's kindness, gifts him a much bigger fish.
