Pingu (1986)

Episode Overview

Pingu, Pinga, and their mother are having a cozy day at home. Pingu is busy stacking blocks, but they keep tumbling down, frustrating him. Meanwhile, Pinga is resistant to bedtime until their mother gently rocks her to sleep. Pingu seeks his mother's assistance with his blocks, but she's preoccupied knitting for Pinga. Noticing Pinga in bed, Pinga begins to cry, drawing their mother’s attention while Pingu feels overlooked. In an attempt to stand out, Pingu acts like a baby and even pretends to be a ghost, but eventually hides in the toy box. After settling Pinga back in bed, their mother realizes Pingu needs her too, apologizes, and gives him a hug before he snuggles in for the night beside Pinga.
