Pingu (1986)

Episode Overview

The class visits a sculptor who is working on a massive whale. On their way, Pingg hurls a snowball at Pingu, hitting him in the head. Pingu retaliates, accidentally hitting the schoolmaster instead, which earns him a scolding. Upon arriving at the sculpture, the students explore their surroundings. Pingg decides to assist the sculptor by carving the whale's body, much to the artist's annoyance. Meanwhile, Pingo climbs the scaffolding despite Pingu's warnings. When he reaches the top and shouts, the schoolmaster orders him down. As the sculptor explains his work, Pingg sneaks onto the whale's tail and begins bouncing, causing a piece to break off. He barely saves himself from falling by gripping the tail's edge. Pingo tries to help with a long pole, but it's too short, and the schoolmaster can't reach him from the top. The sculptor grumbles about the damage. Pingu devises a plan
