Pingu (1986)

Episode Overview

Pingo is busy fishing when Pingu joins him by the water. While there, Pingu notices a bottle floating and decides to toss snowballs into the water to push it ashore. Once he retrieves the bottle, he breaks it open to find a strange map inside, indicating a path from the water into the hills, marked with a big “X.” Curious, Pingu and Pingo embark on the adventurous journey, which has some tricky sections, leading them to a sealed cave. Inside, Pingu discovers a locked chest, and after managing to open it, they find it disappointingly empty except for a single shell. A disagreement arises over who gets to keep what, and eventually, Pingo takes the chest while Pingu keeps the shell. When Pingu returns home, Pinga is eager to have the shell, but Pingu refuses to part with it. Their mother approaches, and Pingu decides to give the shell to her, but in the commotion, Pinga lunges
