Pingu (1986)
S03E23 Pingu and the Postcard
Episode Overview
A postcard arrives, and Pinga excitedly picks it up. It features a beautiful Hawaii beach adorned with palm trees, showcasing a dancer in a flower garland alongside a drummer. Pinga expresses her wish for a garland, and while Pingu hesitates, she suggests using Mother's lovely flower pot. Pingu gathers all the flowers to craft a garland for Pinga, then removes the leaves to mimic palm trees. He empties the pot, tossing the soil aside, and flips it over, using it with a pan to create a drum. As Pingu plays, Pinga dances. When Mother comes home and sees the mess, she faints, and Pingu and Pinga worry until Father arrives. They seat Mother and explain everything. Father visits the florist to buy a new pot of flowers, delighting Mother when she wakes. The family then enjoys another performance from Pingu and Pinga.
