Pingu (1986)

Episode Overview

Pingu is busy stacking wooden blocks into a tower when Pinga comes over and grabs her ball from nearby. The tower collapses, leading to Pinga’s laughter. Annoyed, Pingu snatches the ball and refuses to return it, prompting Pinga to chase him around their igloo. He eventually places the ball on a high shelf, out of her reach, and heads outside to join his friends for some ice skating. After their fun, Pingu returns home only to discover the ball is missing. He asks Pinga and then Mother, both of whom have no idea where it is. Searching the igloo yields no results, so he goes outside. There, he encounters a stranger with a sledge full of boxes. When the sledge hits a block of ice, a lid pops open, and Pingu mistakenly believes he sees his ball inside. The stranger invites him to check, but it turns out to be a piggy bank. Feeling embarrassed, Pingu trudges
