Pingu (1986)

Episode Overview

Pingu and Pinga are engaged in a game of hide-and-seek, with Pingu hiding inside the toy box while Pinga counts. After searching everywhere inside and outside without success, Pinga informs their mother, who takes her along to the shops. Once they leave, Pingu peeks out of the box, sees no one around, and falls asleep. In his dream, the toy box magically moves, and kitchen items come to life, including dancing plates and a toy airplane that takes off. Pingu follows it outside, where a talking snowman directs him to flowers growing in the snow. To his amazement, one flower transforms into a tree bearing fruit, and he enjoys an apple and a delightful pink liquid. A fish jumps into his mouth, and as he licks a lollipop, it unexpectedly shifts away. Pingu wakes up just as Mother and Pinga return, and Pinga surprises him with a pink lollipop she bought!
