Pingu (1986)

Episode Overview

Pingu is jolted awake by his alarm clock, which he accidentally knocks off the table while trying to silence it. After the clock breaks, he crawls back under the covers. Mother calls for Pinga and him to come for breakfast. Pinga gets out of bed, notices Pingu still sleeping, and rushes to inform Mother. When she calls again, Pingu groggily gets up, stretches, and trips over the broken clock, landing flat on his face, much to Pinga's amusement. In the bathroom, he accidentally breaks a mug trying to reach it from the shelf. Mother, busy packing his lunch, tells him he’s missed breakfast and sends him off to school. Just as he steps outside, Father leaves, so Pingu must pull his sledge alone. He hits a bump while riding, is thrown off, and lands in the snow. At school, he dozes off during class, earning laughter from his classmates when he’s woken. Back home
