Pingu (1986)

Episode Overview

In the kitchen, Mother is busy mixing a cake when Pingu strolls by with his kite, announcing his plans to fly it. She affectionately pats his head before he heads outside. Once outside, he takes a moment to spin the snowman’s head before continuing on. Nearby, Pingo is flying his kite near the grouchy neighbor's igloo when it suddenly crashes next to her laundry. The irritable neighbor emerges, scolds Pingo, and confiscates his kite, leaving him to hide behind a block of ice. Pingu, unaware of the situation, tests the wind and launches his own kite. Pingo rushes back to share his misfortune, but Pingu dismisses him with a laugh. As Pingo watches anxiously, the grouchy neighbor appears again, brandishing a carpet beater and ordering them to leave. Pingo flees as Pingu’s kite spins out of control and crashes into the laundry, prompting the neighbor to become even more upset.
