Episode Overview

While Mother tidies up, Pingu is engrossed in play when the phone rings. She prompts him to pick it up, and it's Grandfather, who has discovered a bow and arrows outside his igloo. Pingu can't wait to rush over and receives the bow and arrows from Grandfather. Thrilled, he shoots an arrow into the sky. Grandfather sets up a target for him, but Pingu misses twice in a row. As Grandfather heads inside for tea, Pingu's playful side emerges. An arrow strikes an apple on the table, followed by another that shatters a window. Grandfather, irritated, heads outside, only to get hit by a third arrow. He angrily calls Mother to complain and sends Pingu back home. When Pingu arrives, Mother is waiting to take the bow and arrows away. To lift his spirits, she asks him to tidy the scattered firewood by the igloo and goes indoors.
