Pingu (1986)

Episode Overview

Mother and Pinga head out to the shops while Father and Pingu stay behind to fix a broken table leg in the shed. As Father sifts through his toolbox, Pingu eagerly joins in, prompting Father to gently move him aside. Once Father begins repairing the table, Pingu sneaks back to the toolbox for another look. Father notices and, after relocating Pingu to a chair, steps out to grab some paint, leaving Pingu alone. Unable to resist, Pingu rummages through the toolbox again and places it on the newly mended table, causing it to collapse. He attempts a fix but ends up sticking his hand to the tabletop and creating a mess in the shed. Grandfather arrives, gathering the table legs while Pingu tries to help but gets his hand stuck again. Just as they manage to free him, Father returns. Pingu and Grandfather clean up, and Father reattaches the legs. However, one leg is shorter, making the table wobble.
