S05E03 Pingu Digs a Hole
Episode Overview
Pingu steps out of the igloo with his father to see him off to work, only to discover their sledge buried under fresh snow. Father clears it off but leaves the shovel behind as he heads out. Curious, Pingu decides to try digging and creates a hole right at the entrance. When Mother comes out with laundry, she unexpectedly falls in. As she struggles to climb out, Pingu quietly sneaks away. He soon meets Robby, and together they start digging tunnels around the neighborhood. Meanwhile, the confused fishmonger wonders where his crate of fish has gone as he sinks into the ground. Later, Father returns to gather the family for a picnic and finds Mother and Pinga by the mysterious hole, but Pingu is nowhere to be seen. Pinga, lagging behind, gets lifted up by the expanding tunnel and ends up in front of their parents, leaving them puzzled.
