Pingu (1986)

Episode Overview

Pingu and Pinga are engrossed in a lively game of tag, and Pingu is eager to avoid being "it" at all costs. He darts around the igloo, hides under the bed, and even sneaks behind the ironing board while Father is busy ironing. When Pingu accidentally knocks the ironing board, Father suggests they head outside to play. Pingu cleverly escapes by climbing an ice arch, but when Pinga can’t find him, she eventually returns home. Meanwhile, Pingu realizes he’s stuck at the top. Concerned, Pinga informs Father that Pingu is missing, prompting the family to set off on a motorized sledge to search for him. As night settles in, they still haven’t found Pingu, who is growing increasingly cold. Eventually, they locate him, and Father encourages Pingu to jump into his arms, which he does safely. Later, while Pingu is helping with the ironing, Pinga tags him, leaving him annoyed.
