Pingu (1986)

Episode Overview

Mother is busy making pancakes when Pingu and Pinga eagerly ask to join in. She allows Pinga to give the batter a stir, followed by Pingu, while she prepares the stove. However, chaos ensues when Pingu stirs too enthusiastically, splattering batter everywhere. Mother steps in to demonstrate how to flip a pancake, and the siblings are excited to try. Pinga manages her flip with some help, but when Pingu attempts his on his own, he flips it too hard, sending the pancake to the ceiling. After several messy failures, Mother prepares another pancake for him. Just as Father walks in, the pancake flies out and hits him in the face! Father cleverly flips it back into the pan, surprising everyone. Pingu then proudly shows off his new flipping skills, earning applause from Mother and Pinga. He makes pancakes for everyone, but waits for his first flip to fall back onto his plate from the ceiling!
