S05E26 Pingu's Bedtime Shadows
Episode Overview
As night falls, Father keeps nodding off in his chair. Outside, Pingu and Pinga are playing until Mother tells Father to bring them inside to prepare for bedtime. Once inside, she takes the kids to the bathroom while Father drifts off again. Pingu gets up to his usual mischief, squirting toothpaste on the mirror and creating funny shapes. Eventually, they settle into bed, and Mother tucks them in. Pinga drifts off but wakes up frightened by a shadow on the wall. Initially scared, Pingu soon realizes it’s just a mask casting the shadow. They sit together, and Pingu creates shadow shapes that entertain Pinga. She asks him to make a shadow of Robby, but she outshines him with her own version. Pingu then makes a shadow of a sailing boat, and Pinga responds with a schooner. After thinking for a moment, Pingu casts a shadow of Father, mimicking him, which earns applause from Pinga
