Pingu (1986)

Episode Overview

Pingu discovers a flyer for a paperboy position and convinces Father to let him take on the job. They head to the paper shop, where Pingu struggles to lift the heavy box of papers. Despite Father's offer to assist, Pingu insists on doing it alone and loads the box onto his sledge. Father teaches him how to fold the papers for delivery, but Pingu's first attempt ends in a crumple as he accidentally traps his fingers. When delivering to Punki, he tries three times before getting it right. He encounters Pingi at the playground, but after being scolded by Father for taking too long, he hurriedly delivers the next papers, tossing one through an open window and soaking the penguin inside. Another paper lands in the loo, surprising a penguin in the bath, and yet another ends up in Grandfather's cereal. After completing his rounds, Pingu carelessly dumps the undelivered papers in a bin.
