Pingu (1986)

Episode Overview

Pingu is heading to school with his toy truck when Pongi catches up to him, holding a box containing a rubber band-powered model plane. Pingu reaches out to touch it, but Pongi quickly closes the box and moves along. As they walk, Pingg passes by with a long box, while Pingo bounces by on his pogo stick, making Pingu feel a little jealous of their toys. At school, they all engage in various games. Pingu plays “catch the fish” with Pingi while Pongi flies his plane. The schoolmaster joins in and catches a fish, but when the plane flies over him and lands nearby, Pingu picks it up only for Pongi to snatch it back. After some negotiation, Pongi allows Pingu to hold it. When the schoolmaster accidentally breaks the rubber band, he gets a new one and gets distracted, giving Pingu the chance to test the plane, though it doesn’t fly far. Pingu finds
