The semi-finalists of Cycle 16 arrive in Los Angeles, where Jay Manuel and Miss J. assist Tyra Banks in executing a surprising twist before the selection of the 14 finalists who will move into the Top Model penthouse. At an exquisite estate in Malibu, the models are introduced to designer and model Erin Wasson, who teaches them how to navigate a narrow runway encased in a plastic bubble. Top fashion photographer Russell James captures the action during a backstage photo shoot. For the first elimination of Cycle 16, André Leon Talley and Nigel Barker join Erin and Tyra on the judges' panel.
