Vicky persuades Cole to come clean to their parents about him being the father of Melissa's baby, but the moment never arises. Meanwhile, Phillip enjoys a romantic dinner with the alluring Amanda Croft, a woman in her fifties, but she grows wary of his ties to Angela. In Malibu, Darryl and Maggie share a steamy kiss, leaving Maggie anxious and prompting her to rush back to Chase. As Angela nears controlling New Globe stock, Richard throws a wrench in her plans by announcing an additional two million dollars in stock. Unbeknownst to Richard, Angela and Phillip enlist Wall Street banker Kenderson to delay the stock issue, giving Angela the time she needs. Simultaneously, Chase's mother, Jacqueline, investigates Angela's European business ventures and uncovers significant information.
