Episode Overview
Emma and Lance stumble upon Julia, who is in hiding at the springhouse with her captive, Joseph. Meanwhile, Terry is troubled by a letter from her past that forces her to deceive Michael once more. Angela, upon reading an old letter from Julia, regrets prioritizing her career over their relationship. Julia agrees to free Joseph if Angela comes to her. As Angela enters the springhouse, she confesses her failures as a mother and finally tells Julia she loves her. Just as Julia hands over the gun, a deputy mistakenly opens fire, igniting a kerosene lamp and engulfing the house in flames. Lance and Chase rush in to save Angela, but Lance is knocked unconscious by debris, leaving Angela to watch in despair as the springhouse burns.
