Following the examination of a ring and bone fragments at the scorched springhouse, the coroner confirms the remains are Julia's. In her farewell note to Lance, she requests her ashes be scattered in Italy. Angela invites the Channing and Gioberti families to the trip, hoping Julia's death might mend their rifts. Meanwhile, Richard is thrilled by news that Pamela might still be alive in Europe. Melissa tells Lance she will have moved out of Falcon Crest by the time he returns, while Angela learns of Melissa's divorce filing and her inability to have children. As preparations unfold, Melissa bribes a worker to create an accident at the winery to keep Cole from leaving. During the pre-flight check, Chase overlooks a cartel member disguised as a mechanic. As Angela, Philip, Lance, Emma, Richard, Maggie, Michael, Terry, Linda, and Joseph board the plane with Chase at the helm, an emergency alarm suddenly blares.
