Haunted by memories of the crash, Chase is plagued with nightmares and feels guilt over his inability to ensure a safe landing. Angela unexpectedly visits Greg Reardon at his stables, offering him the vacant attorney role following Philip's passing, along with a promise to boost his political ambitions in a year if he accepts. Meanwhile, Cole and Maggie sort through Linda's belongings. As Richard enters his limousine, Spheeris threatens him with a gun, demanding he secure a property for the cartel, but Richard refuses. Angela, Lance, and Alan Caldwell from the F.A.A. concoct a plan to blame Chase for the crash due to a supposed fuel leak. Cole and Melissa rekindle their friendship. In Buenos Aires, Johann gets into his limo, which suddenly detonates as Gustav watches, coldly witnessing his father's demise.
