Episode Overview
Lance faces trial for allegedly attempting to murder Angela, but his true opponent is Richard Channing, who has covertly bribed the judge. Richard learns that Greg and prosecutor Caroline Earle have struck a deal that would significantly reduce Lance's sentence, and he discreetly informs Judge Holder, who promptly dismisses the agreement. Meanwhile, Cole and Melissa contemplate hiring a surrogate to start a family. Chase decides to bring Connie on board to assist Cole with their champagne venture. Cassandra and Damon inch closer to enacting revenge on Angela while keeping their plans hidden from the intrigued Richard. Additionally, Melissa's cousin, Robin, arrives at the Gioberti home, quickly setting her sights on Cole and the luxurious estate.
