Title: The Gang Lands New Jobs Plot: As the Summer Parks Programs come to an end, Kyle, Keri, and Chris feel a sense of sadness about finishing their lifeguarding duties. Kyle, in particular, fears the next job won't bring him much tranquility. That evening, the kids unveil their mural to their parents, and although Theo worries about Nelson's absence, he eventually arrives and joins in the celebration. To mark the conclusion of their work, the roommates plan a night out, but Chris opts to skip the festivities, disappointing Kyle. Unsure how to support Chris, who is facing alcoholism, Kyle asks to join him at an AA meeting. Chris is thrilled to share this experience. The meeting profoundly impacts Kyle, who admits to Chris that he had initially intended to party that night but is grateful for the alternative.
