Episode Overview

On the night before Aneesa's birthday, she eagerly awaits some phone time to chat with friends and family, eager to celebrate a bit before sleep. However, Tonya is monopolizing the phone, engaged in a conversation with Justin, who’s calling from a tanning salon. Their argument over the phone ensues, but ultimately, Tonya refuses to yield. Kyle steps in, urging her to let Aneesa have a turn, and after some reluctance, she agrees to hang up eventually. The following day, the cast, like many others, finds themselves transfixed by the news of a tragic event unfolding. They go from comforting one another to frantically searching for loved ones, grappling with the chaos and violence of the situation. Kyle is especially anxious, trying to reach Nicole and his sister, both of whom live near the World Trade Center in New York.
