Episode Overview
Two exceptional cadets from the Virginia Military Institute, who are also close friends, find themselves on this season of Real World. David has triumphed over a troubled past involving drugs and homelessness in Boston. Nathan shares his story of growing up alone since he was 15 after losing his father, though he did receive support from his girlfriend Stephanie, whose family welcomed him in. As they arrive at a picturesque pier in Seattle and explore their lavish new home, they meet Rebecca, a charming, earthy blonde. Soon after, Janet, an Asian beauty dealing with her own family struggles, drops by. Despite his commitment to Stephanie, Nathan feels drawn to Janet, who secretly finds him attractive. Their first trolley ride introduces them to Lindsay, a lively petite girl, and Stephen, an African-American man. Lindsay and Janet hit it off right away, as the final roommate—a woman with curly, textured hair—arrives.
