Episode Overview

Following his victory over Arundo Akamatsu, Kenshin makes his way back to the Kamiya Dojo, where he encounters Hajime Saito. Under the alias Goro Fujita, the police officer, Hajime had already introduced himself to Kaoru and Yahiko, who welcomed him without a second thought. He chastises Kenshin and the others for their gullibility. While Kenshin has spent the last decade distancing himself from violence, Hajime has sharpened his lethal instincts and abilities as a hitman, now turning his ruthless focus toward them.
