S02E04 Excuse Me, May I Cut In?
Episode Overview
When Laverne and Shirley's television breaks down, a contest offering a new color set catches their attention. Shirley decides to be extra friendly to Richie Cunningham, hoping he'll invite her and Laverne to the dance. Their true motive, however, is to have Richie ask his friend Potsie Weber, the best dancer around, to partner with Laverne. Unfortunately, Potsie gets injured and can't perform, so Laverne quickly teams up with Richie to secure the TV prize. Back at their apartment, the girls confess they were only after the TV, but the guys are so understanding that they end up getting a bit of what they originally wanted.
