Episode Overview
Laverne, Shirley, and Carmine return to Milwaukee for their high school reunion, unaware that their friends believe they’ve become Hollywood stars, with Carmine as a renowned Las Vegas singer. Lenny and Squiggy have spread the rumor that the trio has hit it big. Feeling a bit insecure compared to their classmates’ achievements, they decide to play along. Laverne claims she's dating Marlon Brando, while Shirley mentions Paul Newman. However, when Rosie starts probing about Marlon, their lies unravel. Shirley confesses, prompting Terri Buttafuco to kick them out for deceiving everyone. Laverne reenters to confront her old friends for only being friendly because of their supposed fame, which leads to a heartfelt reconciliation.
