Episode Overview
Laverne and Shirley realize it's time to shake up their routine for meeting men since the bars aren't yielding any results. When Rhonda shows up sporting a stylish new ski outfit, Laverne gets the bright idea to hit the slopes in search of new romantic prospects. Shirley is hesitant but eventually goes along with the plan. As they attempt to ski, it quickly becomes clear that neither is particularly skilled, especially Shirley. Laverne, eager to impress a ski lift operator, lies about her experience and pretends to know how to use the lift. Naturally, chaos ensues as they struggle to board the lift, only to find it breaking down while they're stuck halfway up the mountain. After hours of being stranded, they finally make it back down, only to sit shivering on a rock and bickering about the idea to ski. Just then, two mountain rescue guys, Bob and Bennett, come to their aid.
