Karma (2025)

Episode Overview

Rhonda rushes into Cowboy Bills to inform Frank that she fears Carmine may be contemplating suicide. She reveals that he has packed his belongings, turned off the gas, and disconnected his phone. Just as they prepare to dash off to help him, Carmine walks in and announces that he’s decided to leave for New York in pursuit of a Broadway career. Frank and Rhonda offer him some cash since he’s a bit short on funds. After bidding farewell to them, Carmine heads to Laverne's place to share his plans. Once there, Laverne excitedly tells him she can finally buy the water bed she’s been saving for. Carmine then confides that he’s tired of his job as a singing telegram boy and is moving to New York but lacks $100. Laverne generously offers to lend him the money from her water bed savings, and he gratefully accepts before saying goodbye to her as well. Soon after, Carmine arrives in New York.
