Clark falls under the spell of a woman wielding a so-called magical charm, which allows her to manipulate those around her. In a trance, he discloses his superpowers and is ordered to eliminate Lex. At the same time, Lex has successfully located the elusive Professor Fine and is preparing for a confrontation, oblivious to the fact that Clark is on his way to carry out the deadly task.
