Episode Overview

Syd’s new patient, Mr. Ellison, is battling advanced cancer and has limited time left. She is tasked with ensuring he survives for three more days, allowing him to secure money for his family by outlasting the statute of limitations. After finding the funds, Syd gives it to Mr. Ellison. Meanwhile, Heather is preparing to marry Charlie, a man with a criminal past, which raises concerns for Dr. Hansen and disapproval from her mother, Donna. Heather’s feelings for Robbie complicate her decision. When Mr. Hartman confronts Syd, he reveals that Mr. Ellison has a troubled history involving fraud and prison.
