Episode Overview

Syd's father is nearing 60 and is struggling with the idea of aging. Meanwhile, Jim is frustrated by the takeover of a previous veterinarian's clinic, prompting him to consider the future of his own practice. Robbie continues to search for a way to make amends with Heather. Jim’s accountant suggests he sell his practice and retire, leading Jim to contemplate closing the doors for good. While waiting for a fax, Syd and Joanie unexpectedly discover the news, realizing that Jim might be ready to step into retirement.
