Episode Overview

Syd is preparing to leave and requires therapy for her leg, which was affected by Encephalitis. She discovers her therapist prefers traditional methods over machines. Determined, Syd starts exercising but ends up pushing herself too hard. Meanwhile, Jim takes in dogs from Chicago after their owner goes missing. Andi becomes fixated on Robbie due to his refusal to cheat on her behalf. Ignoring her body’s need for rest, Syd crashes her car into a tree while driving Izzy home. Additionally, Joannie learns that Bert is dating someone new, leaving Syd feeling out of sorts and reconsidering her medical career.
