Matt Damon guest stars as the charming Owen, who is vying for a position in New York's Gay Men's Chorus against Jack. The twist is that Owen is actually straight and is more interested in the chorus’s enticing summer trip to Europe. Jack has his suspicions about Owen’s true intentions and knows he needs solid evidence. Enter the "hug test"—an idea that leaves Jack feeling uneasy as he turns to Grace for help in getting close to Owen. Meanwhile, Karen hatches a plan to present Will as her boyfriend instead of her lawyer when she realizes guests at her Valentine’s Day party pity her for being single.
