S01E02 First Shoot
Episode Overview
As the Bike Patrol operates as a CRASH Unit to combat gang violence at the beach, Cory McNamara is compelled to fire her weapon at a gang member fleeing a crime scene. With no gun recovered, the incident raises concerns of a "bad shoot." The pressure mounts as Cory, a third-generation officer, grapples with the tradition that her first shooting must be flawless. She faces scrutiny from her disapproving father, the threat of a lawsuit, and her own self-doubt. Meanwhile, a cocky young actor arrives to film at the beach, causing friction with the patrol, particularly for Chris Kelly, who idolizes him, and Victor, who reluctantly joins the film's cast. Additionally, a group of roller-skating pickpockets is targeting unsuspecting beachgoers.
