Episode Overview

**Title: Echoes of the Past** **Plot:** Gene Savage, the corrupt officer Palermo once testified against, has been released from prison and is now running an arcade on the boardwalk. Savage attempts to provoke Palermo by employing his girlfriend as a bookkeeper and then turning over a damaging security video to Internal Affairs. Soon after, a body is discovered on the beach, and Palermo's backup revolver, which was stolen during a heist, is identified as the murder weapon. Meanwhile, a teenage bike thief pursued by T.C. and Victor witnesses the crime but refuses to speak. Additionally, a member of a community group reminiscent of the "Red Berets" has a crush on Cory, but his impulsive actions nearly endanger his partner while chasing a drug dealer. Cory must intervene before he takes matters into his own hands.
