Episode Overview
The reckless son of a Romanian diplomat wreaks havoc along the boardwalk, presenting a significant issue for the Pacific Blue team due to the father's diplomatic protections. The government is uncooperative, as the ambassador is engaged in a covert operation aimed at exposing illegal arms trafficking. As the son's actions escalate, Palermo faces the dilemma of challenging government authorities to protect the beach community. On the basketball court, Palermo strikes up a friendship with a seemingly earnest young man, only to learn he’s a former college player with a troubled past, marked by illiteracy and involvement in drugs and point-shaving. When a local college coach seeks Palermo's assistance in recruiting him, Palermo must determine if the young man's desire to reform and pursue a genuine education is sincere.
