Episode Overview

In a brazen heist, a trio of heavily-armed robbers storms a bank in Santa Monica. The chaos escalates into a gunfight, resulting in the death of a security officer and leaving Victor wounded. Though his injury isn't severe, it becomes fodder for jokes back at the Firehouse as he grapples with his own mortality. Meanwhile, Chris finds himself in the crosshairs of one of the robbers seeking revenge for his injury. After a botched assassination attempt, Chris spends the night with T.C., reigniting their old romance as they navigate their feelings. Palermo discovers that his ex-wife, Helen, is suffering abuse at the hands of her current husband, a police officer. He offers her refuge at his home, but that evening, Jessie walks in on them in an intimate moment. Conflicted, Palermo must face Jessie's question about whether he and Helen are reconciling, leaving him uncertain of the answer.
