Going Straight (1978)

Episode Overview

Fletch stops by his probation officer’s office to share that his wife, Isobel, has left him for a man named Reg Jessop, who runs a cardboard box factory. Surprisingly, Fletch appears indifferent about finding work. His lack of concern stems from an old crime that he tries to revisit by stealing Godber’s lorry and heading to the location where he buried the stolen goods. Unfortunately for him, he finds that the area has been transformed into a housing development, leaving him empty-handed.
