Episode Overview

Following a year with the gang unit, Detective Kevin Ruggiero is back at Miami Homicide, probing a drive-by shooting that resulted in the deaths of two men. Initially facing a lack of evidence, he discovers that one victim was a co-founder of a local gang. Meanwhile, in Louisville, Detective Kristen Downs investigates the shooting of a 17-year-old boy. As she finds out that the boy's friends were present during the incident, she must persuade them to set aside their fear of retaliation to seek justice for their friend.
