The final five chefs are moved by touching video messages from their mentors, who also provide them with a selection of ingredients for their next challenge. In the Elimination Challenge, the chefs are tasked with crafting hors d'oeuvres that visually resemble one dish but are entirely different in flavor. Chef Derek Dammann joins Mijune, Janet, Mark, and Eden to sample these cleverly disguised creations, adding an extra layer of excitement to the competition.
