Episode Overview

Sicknote receives his new metal detector just as the Watch gets called to a hydraulic platform stuck atop a warehouse. Upon reaching the roof, Carol is surprised to run into Clingfilm, who is moonlighting with another company to save for a new camper van. Meanwhile, Billy is off duty and meets his half-sister for the first time, while George struggles at home with the kids since Kelly has gone to Spain. The next emergency call leads them to a block of flats where a renovation project has gone terribly wrong. A group of young people accidentally knocked down a supporting wall, causing a floor collapse that traps several individuals. Fortunately, the Thermal Image cameras help locate a trapped woman, but rescuing her requires breaking through a wall. Back at the station, a photographer snaps a picture of Gregg, who mentions to Nick that his girlfriend’s father is an MP, explaining the photo op. Meanwhile, Jaffa cautions Jack to stay away from Nicki, his niece.
