Episode Overview
A fire breaks out in an apartment, trapping a mother and her two children inside. The mother calls 999 but soon collapses. Nancy, on duty, hears their cries for help but feels powerless. She quickly reconnects with the operator to share the location for assistance. The Watch arrives on the scene, and Hallam, Josie, and George work tirelessly to rescue the children, but unfortunately, the parents do not survive. Meanwhile, it’s revealed that Charisma has left the Watch to take on a staff position, prompting the team to joke about the supposed curse on the Watch. Tate insists it’s not jinxed, and Josie backs him up. George, however, makes an insensitive remark to Josie about her impending departure, upsetting her. Later, the Watch finds Josie in tears in the dorm. George apologizes, and Josie expresses how much she will miss them, though it's clarified she’s only transferring, not moving away entirely.
