Josie steps in as the acting Sub at her new station and oversees a chaotic scene involving a crashed lorry and spilled hot tar. Two workers are hurt—one covered in molten tar, while the other is trapped under a propane cylinder. When Blue Watch arrives, they must take direction from Josie. Tate beams with pride as she coordinates the rescue and ensures the area is evacuated promptly. Later, Blue Watch responds to a fire in a ship's engine room, where the hold is filled with foam, making it hard to see or hear. Malcolm bravely leads his team on a risky mission, relying solely on touch to locate and rescue the trapped Chief Engineer. In a lighter moment, Blue Watch decides to restore an old car for Maggie, who finally passed her driving test after six attempts.
