Episode Overview
A builder attempts to use a pneumatic drill to clear a solidified batch of cement from his lorry's drum. Unfortunately, a large chunk of concrete falls on him, pinning him down. His young son, who is nearby, quickly contacts the Brigade, who realizes they must act fast before more debris falls. Tragically, just as they manage to free him, he passes away. Meanwhile, touched by the news that Recall's son Jamie has cystic fibrosis, Bayleaf organizes a charity pram race to help the family fund a trip to Disneyworld. The event is a huge success, raising over £1,000, and Maggie's daughter secures free tickets for their flight. Nick decides the Watch should take a trip to Boulogne and assigns Sicknote to handle the arrangements. Meanwhile, George finds himself fending off the advances of Kelly's mother, who is trying to charm him.
