Episode Overview

Maggie is having a great time in Thailand with her much younger companion. Meanwhile, Billy introduces Bayleaf to his Nan, who has been his primary caretaker. Sally reluctantly lets Eddie stay at her place but is irritated by his advances. Hallam finds himself giving Geoff rides to and from the station now that the Pearces have settled nearby. As Jamie recovers and returns to duty, Eddie almost borrows Sally’s car without her permission, but George catches him, prompting Sally to send him away in frustration. Two boys prank a laundrette manageress by locking her in the office and flooding the place with foam, leading Billy and Colin to wade through it to rescue her. Hallam and Sandra hide when the Pearces drop by again. Chaos ensues when three inebriated football fans crash a party, tossing a molotov cocktail that ignites the hall decorations, causing a rapid blaze. A man falls fatally from a flagpole while Sicknote bravely climbs onto the roof
